Walk Aid Scooter

The Walk Aid Scooter is a lightweight, seated walking aid that is designed to take weight off lower extremities and thereby reduce back pressure. It is intended for individuals who have normal balance and have diabetic neuropathy or are experiencing back, hip, knee and foot pain. The Walk Aid Scooter can be used both indoors and outdoors. The all-terrain wheels with pneumatic tires can roll over carpet, uneven surfaces and rough pavement, and the scooter's narrow footprint allows it to be maneuvered through narrow doorways, store aisles and sidewalks. The Walk Aid Scooter is designed for users who are 5 feet to 6-feet 4 inches tall, but it can be modified to accommodate someone slightly shorter or taller. Made of reinforced aluminum frame, the Walk Aid Scooter features 12-inch aluminum wheels with 2-inch pneumatic tires, an adjustable seat and handlebar height, a wide comfort spring seat, a micro-adjust seat pillar, strong sidepull brakes and adjustable reach brake levers, a removable foot support that can be mounted on either side, a kickstand, and a folding stem for storage or transporting.
